My experience was overwhelmingly positive! I am the first in my family to get a PhD and the first to pursue any kind of higher education or research career, so the Faculty Development Accelerator was priceless in terms of laying out the hidden curriculum of what it actually takes (from a strategic and systems-perspective) to launch and sustain a productive faculty career. This experience filled in a lot of the gaps for me...I also loved the focus on achieving big research goals and dreams while being a whole person - I felt like the strategies were really geared towards accessible action steps and clear paths forward without burning out.
